BVID COVID 19 Response – March 19, 2020

The safety and wellness of our community, customers and team is our highest priority as we face the COVID-19 crisis together.  However, as we are beginning to see, steps to protect each other might mean enduring some hardships for a little while as we do our best to maintain business continuity.

As a public agency, BVID has a social obligation to do our part and help reduce the rate of spread.  As such, the BVID office will be closed to walk in customers until further notice.

Please be assured that most customer service related items can still be handled over the phone, or even online, and we are planning to install a drop box if you would still prefer to pay your bill at our location in Browns Valley.

Our office staff will continue to monitor telephone calls and emails (), and our field crew will continue to provide irrigation deliveries and maintain the system as normal.

However, as the “shelter in place” orders continue to grow, some of our office staff may work remotely to keep the operation running, but you might find some responses to take a little longer than usual.  We sincerely apologize and hope this crisis comes to a quick end as we restore our neighborly connection to each of you.

We’re still here, even if it’s from a distance for a short while.

We appreciate your patience and, more importantly, we wish you good health during this critical time.
